Our Department includes the teaching of Personality Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Psychotherapy and Clinical Psychodiagnostics subjects in the level of BA and MA of Psychology, as well in the postgraduate training in Mental Hygiene. In addiction to imparting strong theoretical foundations, we try to teach experience-centered, based on the studens’ activity, thus helping our students’ professional socialization.
Our Department main research areas are Clinical Psychology, Addictions, Sexualpsychology and Perinatal Psychology (Our research groups: Mental Health Research Group, Intercultural Seaxualpsychology Research Group /collaboration with the Psychology Institute of the University of Málaga/, Perinatal Psychology Research Group, Animal-Assisted Therapy Research Group).
The professional credibility of the Department’s staff is based on their practical experiences (Clinical Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Consulting Psychologist, Perinatal Psychology Consultant, Sport diagnostics Consultant). We can represent a wide spectrum of Clinical and Health Psychology authentically and professionally.
Our Department participates in the work of Hungarian Antistigma Program (NAP), which fights against stigmatization of people with Mental Disorders.
