The Department of Social and Work Psychology brings together research activities and teaching in three major professional fields. One of these is the basic science of social psychology and the applied areas related to social psychology, such as economic psychology and psychology of decision making.
The second is work and organisational psychology that includes for example advertising psychology, sport psychology and transport psychology.
The third field is methodology which is the basis not only for courses in methodology, statistics and computer science in the education of psychology, but also for scientific research in psychometrics.
Although our colleaguaes involved in a wide range of scientific fields, they are linked together by joint projects and by their commitment to scientific rigour of practice-oriented applied psychology.
